Simply amazing (By Mimi)

Mimi let this lapse. So, six months down the road, look what happened . . . they kept growing and changing, and becoming even more fun than I could have imagined!

This was taken a couple of weeks ago at the mall in Lubbock. The babies are not walking yet . . . they cut their first tooth on the same day, their second tooth on the same day, then Tyler got a few, then Makenzie got a few . . . And while Makenzie has been crawling and pulling up for a while, Tyler didn't start until recently -- and was immediately good. Mimi is sure he could do it all along. It was just a matter of when he wanted to do it.

Konner is still this very kid -- thrilled with life, happy all the time, and very much in control when Mimi is around. Mom happened to catch him in Makenzie's bed.

Tyler loves the fishes, he loves people and he loves life! He is happy almost all the time and I think he has a streak of orneriness that is just beginning to show itself.

Makenzie is quite the little lady. She looks a LOT like her Mom did at this age, but she definitely has a mind of her own.

I am awed when I think about where we were just a little less than a year ago. The babies were so tiny, so scary, and so very much at risk. Nana and I were talking the other day, and we realized that had the babies been born in another time, the medical technology would not have been available . . . we most likely would not have Kenzie, and maybe not Tyler either. We have been and continue to be so blessed!
