Too many days have passed since I was on here! One thing that has happened is that the babies are sleeping in separate beds. Tyler seems to really enjoy it. Kenzie still likes her time alone with Mom. I think she sleeps once she goes down, but it's still after midnight most nights.
Of course, from what I observed Sunday morning, she has to do what she can to get a little attention. Tyler sleeps really well when he's in Mom's bed and poor little Kenzie is left all alone in the nursery. I have evidence -- pictures I took with Mom's camera, but I haven't managed to get those from Mom yet.
Mom's story is that Tyler woke up an hour early for morning feeding, so she put him in the boppy pillow next to her so they could doze. He slept through Kenzie waking up and Mimi feeding her, and even through Mimi using the flash on the camera. So I'm not so sure of that story. :)
Let's see, what else? Konner loves to talk on the phone, although with me, he says "Mimi" and follows it immediately with "Bobo?" As in, Mimi's okay but I really want to know where Bobo is.
Mom has been unreasonable to him lately, making him eat vegetables and meat instead of just biscuits or cornbread. He is going through a stage of not being as crazy about regular food -- and he really doesn't like meat of any kind right now except hot dogs -- but he loves bananas and apples.
The weather has been so nice that Konner and Dad got out for a while on Saturday, just doing guy things.
The babies are on regular formula now, and have a checkup this coming Friday. They are due for shots, so Dad has to go to the doctor with them this time.
Nana visited the Johnsons with Mimi this past weekend. That woman is absolutely ridiculous when it comes to the grandkids (in her case, great-grandkids). I can't imagine anyone acting as goofy as she does about every little thing they do or say. I'm surprised she can even walk in this condition, wrapped firmly around Konner's, Kenzie's and Tyler's pinky fingers.
Why yes, I do believe that could be the pot referring to the kettle. :)
